The Concept
How do you get where you want to be in life?
MOVE
Motivate
What's your reason?
We'll identify what we want so we can work on obtaining it. Most things don't fall into our laps. Whether it's success, security, knowledge, connections, or self-actualization, some form of motivation has to drive us.
The most common way people give up their power is by thinking they don't have any.
- Alice Walker
Opportunity
We have to take what we have, and turn it into what we want. You are your own opportunity. It takes appropriate timing, like when to hit send on that application, and dedication, like choosing a school, to actualize it.
Start where you are, with what you have. Make something of it and never be satisfied.
- George Washington Carver
Vision
Who do you want to be?
Your vision is what will allow you to harness the power of your motivation, and drive it through your opportunity with purpose. If you don't have a vision, there's no way to know when you're on the right path.
Every great dream begins with a dreamer. Always remember, you have within you the strength, the patience, and the passion to reach for the stars to change the world.
- Harriet Tubman
Endurance
Much of life is difficult. All change is uncomfortable. Few things can be done without consistency. Even though it won't always be easy, there will always be a lesson. For that reason, we must persist, and cannot give up.
If you can't fly then run, if you can't run then walk, if you can't walk then crawl, but whatever you do you have to keep moving forward.
- Martin Luther King, Jr.
Now we're moving!
What happens when we get there?

Goal
When applying to college, competing for an internship, and even a job, knowing what you want out of the experience is of paramount importance. By articulating your interests, you can attain your goals more efficiently, and decipher what type of academic program or profession you want to pursue.
Reality
No dream ever became a reality without effort and practicality. What kind of environment do you want to see when you look out of your dorm room window? How far away from home are you willing to be? Do you have the ability and drive to succeed in the program you've chosen? Figure out the logistics, and the path becomes clearer.
Action
Your vision is what will allow you to harness the power of your motivation, and drive it through your opportunity with purpose. If you don't have a vision, there's no way to know when you're on the right path.
Strategy
Plans can take shape only when they have a structure. The college admissions process is no different. It is not a cookie-cutter routine. We'll figure out how you plan to pay for your education, how you'll get there, how to increase your chances when visiting. And eventually, you will get to decide which school you will attend!
Preparation
After you've made a decision on an institution, there will still be work to do. You need to get prepared to start your next chapter. The deposit, packing, registering for classes, buying books, deciding on housing and a meal plan, still has to be accomplished. But before you know it, you'll be seated in a lecture hall on your first day!
